Using the site

challahbake.org helps women organize and join challah bakes and share recipes. By signing in you agree to these terms and to our community guidelines.

Bakes are organized by hosts

Each bake is organized by its host or organization, not by challahbake.org. We do not run, supervise or guarantee any bake, venue or online session. Please use good judgment when attending events, and only share your address and personal details with people you trust.

Costs

Any cost shown on a bake is set by the host and arranged directly between you and the host. We do not process payments.

Your content

You are responsible for what you post, including bake details, names you dedicate a bake to, photos, flyers and recipes. Only post what you have the right to share, and only add a person's name if you are comfortable doing so. You give us permission to display your content on the site for the purpose of running it.

Halachic information

Information about hafrashat challah and other mitzvot is educational and customs differ. It is not a halachic ruling. Please ask your rabbi.

Recipes

Recipes are shared by members. Check ingredients for allergens and kosher requirements before you bake.

Removing content and accounts

We may remove content or accounts that break our community guidelines. You can delete your own account at any time from your dashboard.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
